English, Icelandic and Japanese with sub-titles when not in English.

The breakout hit of the Scandanavian Film Festival, TOUCH was written and directed by award-winning Icelandic filmmaker Baltasar Kormákur (known for his films EVEREST, ADRIFT, and series TRAPPED) and is based on the best-selling Icelandic novel by Ólafur Jóhann Ólafsson.

It's a big budget film yet is completely European in tone and feel as its captures the books intimate story of passionate love and cross-cultural connection.

The  story  spans several decades and continents as it  follows one man's emotional journey to find his first love again. 70-year-old widower Kristófer (Egill Ólafsson, TRAPPED)  embarks on a remarkable journey to London right when the pandemic hits.

50 years earlier, as an economics student in London, young Kristófer (Pálmi Kormákur, THE DEEP) meets his first love, Miko (played by model and songwriter Kōki), in a Japanese restaurant.

Their love blossoms, but one day Miko suddenly disappears without a trace.    Decades later, with time ticking away, Kristófer is on a quest to track down Miko to find out what happened to her. From London, his journey takes him halfway across the globe and all the way to Japan.

"The weaving worlds that Kormákur has created are gorgeously delicate and prove welcome in its ability to lose audiences within its serenity." The AU Review

"Touch is Baltasar Kormakur's masterpiece. A testament to all that survives in the heart." The Curb

" A profoundly moving drama about love in many forms." Masahable

"Deeply beautiful and heart warming." RUV
