Mathias ( a brilliant and warm Mathias Mlekuz), a father mourning his son Youri decides to honour his memory by retracing the bicycle journey his adult son once undertook, from La Rochelle to Istanbul where he plans to meet up with his son's former girlfriend Marzieh and his other son Josef.
He is accompanied by his dog Lucky and his quirky long time friend Philippe (Philippe Rebbot, Take a Chance on Me) who wears long pants and a suit coat for most of the journey. There's no piece of lyrca in sight and conviviality is the order of the day. Fitness is not on the agenda…
