Facing Monsters is one of the best, if not the best OZ surf film ever. It digs deep into the psyche of enigmatic West Australian 'slab wave' surfer Kerby Brown, a man whose connection with the ocean runs as deep as his love for his family. Insane surfing. Must see. 5 stars.

Impossible to do this film justice in a synopsis but in essence Kerby Brown surfs the unsurfable. He has his demons. His brother and family have his back. Will it be enough to save him on the next wave? Incredible. The Gallipoli of Oz Surf films.
