About the Event

Trailer HERE

BIG vs SMALL is a modern-day fairy tale stretching from monster waves in Portugal to the dark stillness of a far-north, frozen Finnish lake. It's about power and strength on top of the water and facing demons under it. Inspirational gets flayed about regularly these days but the story of  Joana Andrade, the first Portugese woman to conquer the giants of Nazare is truly that. A very engaging and warm personality, Andrade discusses her fears and past abuses honestly and in a matter of fact fashion. Winner of multuple awards at Bilbao/Portugese/London surf film Festivals. proud to present here.
