What begins as a chance encounter during a routine checkup evolves into a profound friendship between an acclaimed philosopher Fabrice Toussaint, played by the expressive Denis Podalydès, (Love Boat/The President's Wife/Juliette in Spring) and the head of an innovative palliative care unit Doctor Augustin Masset played with authority by Kad Medrad (The Big Hit/Love Songs)
Massett's upmarket and well resourced unit is different and Toussaint's interest is immediately piqued by the positive reactions of his patients and asks if he can embed himself with Massett's team and investigate further.
